Jolly good to see you! My name is Daniel, and thank you for viewing my page. I'm pretty new to this blogging stuff, but i'm to give ol' Clayface a new body. <_< Anyway, Expect an analysis of the Cardinal roster and appropriations thereof sometime in the near future. In the meantime, here is what I got to say about the playoffs:
Well, So far so good. In the NL, I was expecting the Dodgers to just lay down and die, but they've been kicking ass and taking names! And seeing as it's the Cubs, I hereby declare myself on the Dodger bandwagon. (Because in all honesty, I have not been a Dodger fan the entire regular season.) I'm especially in fandom of Chad Billingsley. (he's only 24! and he outpitches Zambrano IN THE PLAYOFFS!! This fandom wil carry over into next season,mark my words.) As for the Phillies and Brewers, I find that although the Phillies are playing good ball, The Brewers have practically been handing them oppurtunities to beat them. What else can I say?
In the AL, I didn't exactly count out the Red Sox, but I thought the Angels would be able to outpitch them. Safe to say the analysis is dead after their closer, who accumulated a record 62(?) saves over the season gives up the game-winning home run at home. As for the Rays, they are playing as expected. Outpitching the White Sox and looking extremely comfortable in the playoffs.
And won't it be something if the Rays play the Red Sox in the ALCS for the pennant? After the heated games and brawl, these teams will most likely duke it out in a best of 7 series for the chance to play in the World Series! I'm look forward to that!
