play for their club in 2014 when the Olympics head to Russia. Many players, (including stars Alexander Ovechkin and Evgeni Malkin) have stated they will play anyway, no matter what the NHL rules. Stolhand seems to agree with the players over the management.

My other picks for the major award are as follows:
Alexander Ovechkin for the Hart Trophy (MVP)
He was drafted before Evgeni Malkin for a reason. He’s a better player. Malkin’s a great player, just not the best in the league. I’m sure he can drown his sorrows of not winning by having a drink. Maybe even out of a big shiny cup.

e had just 1 goal and 1 assist in the series sweep by the Penguins. Also, lets not forget the Alexander Ovechkin – Don Cherry fiasco that swarmed the hockey world for weeks after Ovechkin celebrated his 50th goal of the season.

p; So where is the media coverage? Why is it that we are hearing more about Sydney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin’s quarrels than the great achievements set forth by Brodeur?
